Some Favorite Words

Yes, I like words
- the way they sound coming out of your mouth
the way they make you feel
the expression on their face when you sneak your fancy word into conversation -
Love it!
So of course, I have a dictionary app on my phone.
And it comes with the Word of the Day.
So here is one of my favorites:

Foofaraw

[FOO fuh raw]
~ a fuss over a trifling matter
~ excessive amount of decoration or ornamentation

Sample: Ashley, the new Bachelorette, had on too much foofaraw at last night's rose ceremony.

Somebody, PLEASE use it in a conversation.
And tell me how much fun you had.

that is a great word! that just sounds like what it should mean! i like the word juxtaposition. Words I DON'T like, however, deserve their own post-panties? moist? fester? there are lost of "bad" words haha

I love it and I'm going to use it. I'm so glad you're blogging again. You don't know me, nor I you, however I came across yoru blog through a link from someone else's and you know how that goes. In any case 2 of my favorite words in the English language begin with "F" - they are "fluffy" and "fancy" and now I am going to add "foofaraw" :)
